The Band Larry Benson Drums, Vocals One of the band's founding members, this Virgo is a graduate of Truman High School. He's been frontman or drummer in more than half a dozen area bands since the late 60s, including Head Over Heels, Bonita Shortline (while it was called something else) and Nation. Currently single, Larry has a grown son and lives in Raytown Tony Stevens Bass, Vocals A Gemini who attended St. Mary's High School, Tony played guitar and bass in several area bands since the early 70s - most notably Us and Hangfire, the house band for the notorious Merry Go Round. Don't get him started telling those stories! He is married with three children, and lives in Independence Kevin Davis Guitar, Vocals A lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, Kevin has traveled extensively with many bands including Nation, The Secrets*, JT Cooke, and the Janet Jameson Band. His eclectic range of musical influences explains Kevin's interesting - and sometimes just plain weird - musical style Chris Hulett Keyboards Another founding member, Chris is a Virgo and a graduate of Truman High School. He's played in half a dozen area groups, including the Albert predecessor Kaptain Krunch, Us and Hangfire - so be careful, because he knows many of the same stories as Tony! Married with one son, he lives in Independence John Dixon Everything Else This Libra from Warrensburg's University High School has more than 30 years in the sound reinforcement business, and managed a couple of bands before taking on Albert's sound and lighting in 1990. Living in Overland Park with AF fan Terri Sperry, he has two grown children.
